In Memory of Stacie Lee Belew, 1980-2015
The Stacie Lee Belew Scholarship Fund was established by Stacie’s family to honor her life and legacy by providing scholarships in her name to underprivileged children for Christian education. The fund brings together two things that Stacie was so very passionate about: family and faith.
During her time with us, Stacie worked alongside her father and sister at Redbird Carriers, having previously served as a Child Life Specialist at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, and University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. She graduated from Mizzou, where she was a member of the Delta Gamma fraternity. Stacie attended Lutheran High School South and Christ Community Lutheran School, both in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a devout Christian and active member of Concordia Lutheran Church (Kirkwood).
Affectionately known to her family as “Aunt Stac”, she always had a smile on her face. Stacie will be remembered for the joy she brought to so many and for the courage, selflessness, love, patience and the faith she displayed.
The Stacie Lee Belew Scholarship Fund is intended to be a celebration of Stacie’s life on earth and most importantly, her eternal life in Jesus Christ. It is the hope of her family that even as she watches down from heaven, she can continue to touch lives and bring joy to students and their families through the gift of Christian education.
